NSSM 200: Declassified Population Control Policy

IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHY the USA seems so involved in the population control of many Third World nations, read the entire National Security Study Memorandum, NSSM-200: www.hli.org/nssm-200.pdf, and a 2004 retrospective on the memo:  www.hli.org/Kissinger%20Report%202004.pdf. ADMINISTRATION ASKED TO END DECADES OLD US FOREIGN-TARGETED POPULATION CONTROL POLICY– The rarely-spoken of foreign-targeted US population control policy, NSSM 200, was given special public exposure at a Human Life International (HLI) press conference. HLI addressed the 3-decades-old population control policy that was drawn up based on a 1974 memorandum by Henry Kissinger, US Secretary of State during the administration of President Richard Nixon. Kissinger's National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM 200) was a confidential document until declassified in the early 1990's and is still unknown to most Americans who would highly likely never have supported such a policy. The plan called for collusion among the U.S. government, the United Nations and non-governmental organizations such as International Planned Parenthood Federation. According to NSSM 200: "Throughout the implementation of the [population control] process, we have to make sure to hide our tracks and disguise our programs as altruistic… hiding the fact that we want access to their natural resources."  ~~~~~~~ The International Data Base (IDB) is a resource for accurate current and historic demographic information on most countries of the world. www.census.gov/ipc/www/idb/country.php ~~~~~~~     HLI called upon the Bush Administration to formally rescind the Kissinger population control policy and withdraw related funding from the United Nations. NSSM 200, and the US population control policy which came from it, especially targeted thirteen countries for depopulation, countries which, if allowed to increase sufficiently in population,...

Exposing Domestic Abortion Strategies

“…we have in our possession a series of memos written by the intellectual epicenter of the pro-abortion movement, the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR). It reveals a legal strategy – a vast, left-wing conspiracy, to paraphrase Hilary Clinton — to absolutely gut protections for human life both in the U.S. and around the globe. And they are ready to play dirty to get their way.”   The internal Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR) memos were never intended for public dissemination. Reading them, one can see why.   As Congressman Christopher Smith remarked, before placing them into the Congressional Record, "It is especially important that policy makers know, and more fully understand, the deceptive practices being employed by the abortion lobby.   "These documents are from recent CRR strategy sessions where, according to a quote from a related interview session, one of the CRR's trustees said, 'We have to fight harder, be a little dirtier.' These documents expose the wolf donning sheep's clothing in an attempt to sanitize violence against children. These papers reveal a Trojan Horse of deceit."   CRR opposes any regulation of the abortion industry, wants Medicaid to pay for  all abortions in all 50 states, and even objects to "Choose Life" license plates.     Their answer to any and all challenges to the abortion-on-demand mentality is the same: sue, sue, sue.    Overturning 'TRAP' Laws:  The CRR would overturn in the courts any standard medical regulations for abortion centers. To use the CRR's own jargon, these medical regulations are called "targeted regulation of abortion providers" or TRAP laws. According to CRR, "TRAP laws regulate the...

Pro-Life Group Obtains Pro-Abort Internal Documents (12/03)

CFAM announced that it has obtained internal memos from the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR) detailing the strategy to develop international pro-abortion laws that can be imposed and enforced throughout the world — ultimately government financed abortion on demand worldwide. “The memos appear to confirm long-standing fears of some legal scholars that international negotiations on human rights laws are no longer conducted in good faith, and that national sovereignty is jeopardized by such negotiations” [Douglas Sylvia of CFAM]. Austin Ruse, President of CFAM said that while the strategy disclosed in the document is “nothing new” to his organization, it is a “smoking gun” belying the tactics pro-abortion groups have denied for years — tactics that he called “primarily deception.” “Most of their work is getting governments to accept language that will change meanings later,” said Ruse . “For instance, they like the phrase ‘reproductive health’ instead of ‘abortion’ — if they used ‘abortion’ they’d likely lose. When it comes to enforcement, that term can be used to refer to abortion.” [7Dec03...

Bill Gates’ Father, ‘Head’ of Planned Parenthood, Inspired His Abortion, Population Control Views

In a lengthy interview with Bill Moyers released today, Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates reveals the inspiration for his funding of pro-abortion population control measures. Responding to a question by Moyers on how he came to fund “reproductive issues” Gates answered, “When I was growing up, my parents were always involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that.” In the interview Gates says he is moved by measurable progress and on “safe birth reproductive family planning issues” he says. “There’s a measurable impact when you can go in and educate families, but primarily women, about their different choices. There’s real impact that you can have in this area. Anything to do with reproductive health.” He claims he has seen beyond Malthusian conceptions of useless eaters since, he says, he has seen that by improving health and education population decreases as parents decide to have less children. Despite all his distancing from Malthus, Gates remains steadfast to the unfounded Malthusian fear of overpopulation.
