Quotes to Note

The public must be informed that there is no such thing as safe sex.

The failure rate of condoms as a birth control device is at least 10-20%.

Surveys by a pro-abortion organization found that 54% - 56% of women obtaining abortions were using some type of birth control (primarily the Pill and/or condoms)the month they became pregnant. Over half became pregnant while using a form of birth control. [AGI, CDC]

Realize that HIV is 450 times smaller than a sperm.

A scientific study has shown that in couples very conscientiously practicing "safe sex", when one partner was infected with the AIDS virus, there was a 1 in 6 chance that the other partner would contract this deadly disease.

The only "safe sex" is a monogamous marital relationship.

Girls Inc. Losing Grip On Huntsville Schools, Now Heading To Dothan PDF Print E-mail

Girls Inc. has been asked to refrain from all activities in the Huntsville City school system because their "abstinence plus" program does not meet the requirements of the Alabama Course of Study for Health Education or the Abstinence Act of 1992. A replacement curriculum, "Choosing the Best Life," available through a grant, was approved by the school system; however, teachers haven't decided if they will use it.

The superintendent's office has informed teachers that they must comply. Meanwhile, about a month ago Girls Inc. was invited into the Dothan middle schools and hoped to expand to the high schools and surrounding counties. Girls Inc. promotes "reproductive choice" & discourages "homophobia." Their website states that they are against funding for abstinence until marriage education.
