Quotes to Note

Everyone has the Freedom to Choose their Actions, but they CANNOT choose the Consequences.

Why is abstinence THE most important issue?

The Consequences of promiscuity are the #1 Cause of:

- abortion (~53 million since 1973)
- single parenthood
- over 1/3 of children are born out of wedlock
- divorce (50% of marriages end in divorce)
- improper bonding
- broken future relationships
- welfare (we've spent $12 TRILLION on welfare since the war on poverty began and we now have more poor than when we started)

- sexually transmitted disease (65 million young people have incurable STDs)

We can add child molestation, sex trafficking, sexual addiction, and same-sex marriage, which are all related to an education system that does not transmit the time-tested values upon which our nation was founded.

These are Consequences of a culture that has abandoned the principles of true Liberty...

One In Five American Children Has Had Sex By Age 15 (6/03) PDF Print E-mail

"Almost one in five U.S. teens has sexual intercourse by their 15th birthday."

Its review of available data revealed that 4% of 12-year-olds have had sex, 10% of 13-year-olds, and 19% of 14-year-olds.

The figures do not include instances of oral sex, which is reported to be widely practiced by young teens.

A different study also released May 20 [Henry Kaiser Family Fdn] found that 47% of teens aged 14 and younger agreed that there is "pressure to have sex by a certain age."

[issued May 20, National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy; Washington Times, 5-20-03; EF News & Notes, 13Jun03]
