Quotes to Note

"Our science tells us there is a unique, never to exist again, human individual in a mother's womb. Why, in America, have we come to the place where we can kill that individual to solve our problems?"

-- Raymond Ufford, M.D.

A Safe Haven for Newborn Babies

Ohio's Safe Haven For Newborns Law was passed in April 2001. Under this law, a parent, without fear of prosecution, may deliver her unharmed newborn, not more than 3 days old, to a medical worker at a hospital or other emergency service organization. As of 1/07, 43 babies have been safely surrendered in OH. Another name for this legislation is a "Baby Moses Law".
