The preborn child is not a "potential" human being, but rather a Human Being with Potential!

We are either human, or we're not. 

A woman is either pregnant, or she is not. She cannot be partly pregnant, nor can her preborn child be partly human. She is carrying the same child from the day of fertilization until the day of delivery.
