FORMER PP ABORTIONIST PLEADS GUILTY FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY.
George Kabacy, a former Planned Parenthood abortionist in the Columbia-Willamette, Oregon area, has pleaded guilty for engaging in and advertising child pornography.
Kabacy’s e-mail address led to the finding of hundreds of sexual images of young children on his computer and compact discs. An article [http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/nov/07113003.html] on LifeSite News describes a correlation with abortionists having no respect for children:
“Reports of abortionists being convicted of sexual assault, malpractice or negligence have been common and said to be logically associated with the lack of respect and care not only for the child in the womb, but also for the women undergoing the abortions.

WHAT PRO-LIFE TEENS SAY ABOUT ABORTION. 7th and 8th graders say the most remarkable things. That truth is being borne out through some of the entries to the 2008 Pennsylvania Pro-Life Essay contest.
Students at St. Francis Xavier school in Gettysburg recently submitted their essays for the contest, which ends March 1st. Some of their insights are truly amazing.
Consider this analogy from a young man named Anthony:
"Just picture someone in your life that you could not love any more than you do now. Picture that person leaving their house or somewhere they were...just for a few minutes, possibly to go get something. You wait for them to get back, and after ten or so minutes of waiting for them you get worried. You go out to try and find that person but you cannot find them. You go back in and call the police and sooner or later there is a search party out looking for them.
"You are worried for them so much that you get no sleep that night, and early that morning you get news from the police that the one person you loved the most had been murdered by a man for no reason at all.
"I do not know how you would feel but I know I would be torn apart. It would feel so unfair to just about anyone, especially since the person who had murdered your loved one had no motive to kill them at all.
"This situation is no different than abortion..."
Or consider this insight about the Terri Schiavo case from a boy named Michael:
"(Terri) Schiavo as you may know was euthanized because she no longer had any worth to her husband."
And here's the reaction of a young man named Lance when he found out what abortion was all about:
"When you hear the word abortion you probably don't know what it is or means--well, at least I didn't. When I think of abortion, what comes to mind is...aborting a plan, or a mission. I had no idea it was what they were about to tell me, but then they told me. It was pretty upsetting when they told me abortion was giving up on a child and not letting a child be born and be like one of us on this earth. Letting one more kid on this earth is awesome because they could be a pro skateboarder, or find the cure for cancer..."
I'll end with this observation from a student named Shenandoah:
"There are several different ways to have an abortion. Let's get that several down to zero." [5Jan08, Maria Vitale, PA Pro-Life Fed; LifeNews.com]
NON-PROFIT MEGA-CLINIC FAILS TO MEET ZONING: Land used by Planned Parenthood requires tax-paying for-profit operation.
A controversial Planned Parenthood mega-clinic in Aurora, Ill., that was built by a front company with the acronym GOD apparently is facing an uncertain future after city officials admitted it was built under the wrong zoning requirements, and met demands that were much less strict than the zoning actually in force for the land where the 22,000-square-foot building sits.
Peter Breen, a lawyer working with the team assembled by the Thomas More Society to handle the case, said there are several issues the city will need to address at a hearing scheduled Monday, including the fact the land's zoning requires a for-profit corporation, while Planned Parenthood itself is non-profit, and through that status obtained more than $8 million in state bonds to build the project.
The major error in the project was confirmed by the city recently, when officials started referring to ordinance 093-124 rather than to 093-123, "which had expired and which they had been citing previously," the law center said.
"In addition, the city cited the wrong ordinance as a basis for favorable zoning determinations in a pair of investigations undertaken by two touted zoning experts, private lawyers acting on behalf of the city, which led to Mayor Tom Weisner announcing the renewal of Planned Parenthood's temporary occupancy permit…" the center said.
"If the proper ordinance had been cited and complied with, Planned Parenthood should never have opened," the group said.
The project erupted into controversy when officials for a company reportedly operating as Gemini Office Development (GOD), admitted they were a front for Planned Parenthood and confirmed they concealed with identity in order to prevent the public from knowing in advance about the huge abortion business they were opening in Aurora.
The opening of the facility was held up several weeks, from September to October, for an investigation into deceptions by the abortion provider during the permitting and construction process, but the mayor eventually concluded there was no legal reason for the abortion business not to open.
Mayor Tom Weisner said although the company was not "forthright," there were no legal grounds to keep it shut.
The project had been described as an office building throughout its permitting process. However, as WND columnist Jill Stanek reported, a pro-life construction worker on the project became suspicious of the bulletproof glass and surgical suites, components not routine in an office building.
It was soon outed as an abortion facility, prompting protests and outrage from pro-life community members who said, as Stanek phrased it, "If citizens may lie to occupancy permit officials, may they also lie to police officers? Or at city council meetings? Where will Aurora draw the line between permissible and impermissible lies?"
Part of application papers from a front company for Planned Parenthood, indicating the occupant of its new building was 'unknown at this time'
"At a minimum, the city of Aurora should launch an official and legal investigation, questioning the applicant and tenant under oath about statements on applications and in meetings," she said.
"If the city does not, is something more going on, a cover-up? Did some officials know that the public documents filed and statements made by the applicant were false? Did some officials know the tenant was to be an abortion provider, but then conspired with Gemini to keep it quiet to avoid politically unfavorable publicity?"
Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, said the deception probably was the result of two issues: the fact that a Planned Parenthood clinic's construction in Austin, Texas, earlier was delayed for months when local contractors refused to work on the project, and the general atmosphere that accompanies abortion businesses.
"What do you get when you get an abortion facility? Not only do you get dead children, the blight and underworld that comes along with that, but you also get thousands upon thousands of pro-lifers who adorn the streets with pictures of aborted children," he told WND. "I don't think either is good for a community."
The tactic, however, is not isolated to the Illinois location. Newman said the same scenario developed with Denver, where Planned Parenthood recently purchased a building without announcing its presence.
"The bottom line is nobody wants an abortion facility in their community. It's kind of like a toxic waste dump," he said.
Tom Brejcha, of the Thomas More Society, said city officials made a major mistake in allowing the project and are trying to keep it out of the public eye. "The citizens of Aurora should be questioning what their civic leaders are trying to cover up," he said.
Part of the cover-up by Planned Parenthood was its application for building permission for the ostensibly "for-profit" GOD project. But Breen told WND the zoning for the location is "B-B," which is "Business Boulevard," and does not allow non-profit health-related facilities under any circumstances.
Planned Parenthood of the Chicago area is incorporated as a non-profit, and in that status used more than $8 million in state bond funding mechanisms for the facility, officials said.
"By pretending to be building a taxpaying, for profit medical facility, GOD and Planned Parenthood evaded zoning laws that Aurora purports to enforce against its citizens, fairly and even-handedly," the center said.
"Planned Parenthood has defied Aurora's, laws, and the city's current administration seems to be determined to let them get away with it," said Brejcha.
"They have allowed a tax-exempt, non-profit abortion facility to come into Aurora illegally, without the knowledge or informed consent of the public and without the same scrutiny Aurora citizens would receive for putting up a gazebo in their backyard."
Breen said the facility still is operating under a temporary certificate of occupancy, even though it doesn't qualify for that under regulations because of the pending protest of its operation.
He also said the zoning issue affects the project site in other ways that may not be as easy to resolve as the for-profit, non-profit issue. For example, the zoning rules require plans for the property be given city council approval, which was not obtained before construction, and a filing of preliminary plans, which also wasn't done.
The project also fails to comply with the 35-foot setback requirements and parking-related minimums under its city zoning. The zoning calculations require 95 oversized parking spaces for a building of that size, and there exists space for only 71, Breen said.
He said besides the issues over the zoning violations, the center is seeking to subpoena all relevant city officials for depositions in the case, and is seeking for the city to enforce its regulations regarding temporary certificates of occupancy, which would mean the abortion facility would be required to close down.
Planned Parenthood also earlier tried to influence the city's decision by sending letters to the mayor and aldermen making accusations against the pro-life protesters opposed to its facility.
The attack came from Steve Trombley, president of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area, who sent out a three-page letter.
According to documents assembled by Stanek, Trombley's letter said members of the "Pro-Life Action League … have a well-documented history of advocating violence against both persons and property as well as other related criminal activity."
However, the "documented history" was a court ruling that later was overturned – three times – by the U.S. Supreme Court.
"Oh my, if that doesn't scream libel lawsuit, I don't know what does," Stanek wrote on her blog. "Here, Trombley unmistakably accused [pro-lifers] of commandeering violence." [7Jan08, Bob Unruh, WorldNetDaily.com Exclusive]

UN TO USE SPIDER-MAN TO PUSH AGENDA ON U.S. SCHOOLCHILDREN. The United Nations, in a desperate bid to regain prowess and favorable public opinion, has decided to team up with Marvel Entertainment and use Spider-Man to push pro-U.N. propaganda to children around the world.
The move, reminiscent of World War II-era propaganda, is meant to sidestep the ugly relationship the U.N. has cultivated in recent years with the United States and other countries. Aside from political disagreements with the U.S. concerning foreign policy, the U.N. has suffered PR losses over its militant stance in favor of abortion and contraception.
"These comics, featuring favorite Marvel characters such as Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four, will … tell the story of how the United Nations fights the challenges of poverty, disease, and conflict worldwide," said a U.N. announcement. "By making the complex U.N. system accessible to youth, the partners hope to teach children the value of the international cooperation, and sensitize them to the problems faced in other parts of the world."
The idea of using children's comics to push the agenda of the U.N. came from a French filmmaker named Romuald Sciora, who has released a series of short documentaries about former U.N. leaders and has been honored by the U.N. for his work in "informing the public, and particularly the world's young people, about the United Nations."
Camille Schippa of the U.N. Office for Partnerships told the Financial Times that a storyline is due to be approved within weeks and that the cartoonists are working for free. The comic will be distributed to 1 million school children in the U.S., and the U.N. has plans to translate it into French for distribution into other countries.
The current drafts reportedly will be set in a fictional war-torn country, where heroes such as Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four will work in tandem with UNICEF and U.N. peacekeepers to cure disease and stop military conflicts.

PP ENTICES TEENS WITH "MILE HIGH CLUB". Planned Parenthood Golden Gate (PPGG) has aired a new commercial featuring a stereotyped gay man showering teens with condoms and contraceptive pills aimed specifically at 18 to 24-year-olds. The ads, aired on MTV, VH-1, Comedy Central and TLC, are set to a "Mile High Club" theme, where Stephen, a flagrantly stereotypical gay man "educates" the teenage passengers about 'safe sex' by shoving contraceptives at them. At the end of the commercial, Stephen sits on the pilot's lap.
"PPGG created this campaign to stress the importance of sexual health in a creative way and one that breaks free from the old ineffective paradigm of relying on fear-mongering tactics to inspire desired behavior changes," said Dian J. Harrison, PPGG's President and CEO in a press release. "We want young people to take control of their sexual health and well-being by using prevention every time they have sex. This ad's message normalizes pregnancy prevention and safer sex in a healthy, cool, and humorous way."
The commercial, which will run through February 2008, is the latest in a series of raunchy sex-obsessed commercials aired by the heavily-tax-funded PPGG and aimed subverting at teens and young adults. [3Jan08, John Connolly, San Francisco, LifeSiteNews.com]
GROUP DEMANDS KS BOARD OF HEALING ARTS CHANGE ITS WAYS. Scandals involving Board ineptitude in the handling of complaints against a doctor indicted on Federal charges of unlawfully prescribing medication that may have led to 56 overdose deaths and an abortionist charged with multiple counts of violating state laws is gaining publicity.
On 27Dec, the KSBHA recommended that the medical license of Stephen Schneider be suspended since his "continuation in practice constitutes an imminent danger to the public health and safety." However that recommendation has no timetable for implementation. The Schneider complaint languished at the KSBHA since 2004. The recommendation was issued only after headlines revealed the Federal charges, spurring outrage from legislators over the KSBHA's glacial pace of operation.
Complaints against abortionist George Tiller, filed in October, 2006, have yet to see action even though Operation Rescue was notified in September that the case was scheduled to go before a "review board."
Tiller was charged with 30 criminal counts related to illegal late-term abortions last December, which were dismissed without being considered on their merits. Two judges ruled there was probable cause to believe Tiller committed those crimes. In June, Tiller was charged with an additional 19 counts of illegal late- term abortions and faces a grand jury investigation slated to begin on January 8. Meanwhile, Tiller continues to operate without restriction.
"Late-term babies continue to die at Tiller's abortion clinic in spite of laws that should protect them. The charges in both cases should have prompted suspension of licenses long ago," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "The system is broken. It seems only public embarrassment can prompt any action out of them. The only way to insure public safety is for a massive overhaul of the Board. We pledge to work with legislators to get this done."
OR calls on the Kansas Legislature to implement the following reforms:
The immediate firing of KSBHA Executive Director Larry Burning and Chief Counsel Mark Stafford, who have made endless excuses for Board ineptitude but done nothing but perpetuate the problems.
Removal of the appointment process from the governor and mandate that future appointments to the KSBHA to be made by a joint legislative committee to avoid cronyism, which has characterized past appointments and created an unsafe medical environment in Kansas.
Overhaul the complaint process to include deadlines for various stages of the process, more frequent meetings, more interconnectedness between the KSBHA and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and a broadening of the Board's ability to independently investigate suspected problems in the medical community.
