Quotes to Note

Advocates of "safe sex" – those with the idea of giving away condoms to students at school – must face the fact that there is no condom for the brain or heart.

For them, the only negative consequences of teen sex they seem to care about are the physical dangers (and even then, with the high failure rate of condoms kids are never fully protected from either disease or pregnancy).

What about the emotional and psychological dangers?

Heritage Senior analyst Robert Rector explains that the consequences of teen-sex are felt for a lifetime:

"Sexual activity by teens has both short-term and long-term negative psychological effects.

"Sexual activity disputes their ability to develop loving, intimate and committed relationships and thereby creates great unhappiness in later life."

Why don't groups like Planned Parenthood, etc., care about that?

The only way to truly protect kids from damaging their complete health -- and to have the best chance for strong life-long commitment -- is to teach them to wait until marriage.

The in-home survey (given with parental permission) interviewed 6,500 people 14-17 years old]

Medical Student Failed for Not Providing Abortion Option (3/04) PDF Print E-mail

MED STUDENT FAILED FOR NOT PROVIDING ABORTION OPTION - An unnamed medical student in his last year at the Univ of Manitoba Medical School will be denied his degree because he received a failing grade in an OB-GYN portion for refusing to perform/refer for any abortive procedure.

Three separate appeals to the Medical School have failed to correct the matter, despite the fact that the student has high grades in every area of study and strong words of affirmation from clinical supervisors. He is supported by pro-life doctors in Manitoba, who are concerned by the university's intolerance. Many doctors swore to protect human life "from the moment of conception" when they took the Hippocratic Oath. One doctor urged the university to give room to people of conscience. Messages of support: . [WINNIPEG, March 18, 2004 LifeSiteNews.com; www.llifesite.net, 18Mar04]
