Embryonic Stem Cell Abnormalities (3/2004)

A recent report [Nature, biology journal] describes research at the University of Sheffield and the University of Wisconsin, which suggests that human embryonic stem cells, after being grown in a laboratory, have been found to develop genetic abnormalities not present when first cultured.
