Ultrasound Machines for Pregnancy Centers |

ULTRASOUND MISSION – Focus on the Family is trying to equip 650 pregnancy resource centers (PRCs) with ultrasound machines by 2010. Of the 2300 PRCs in the USA, about 350 have the capacity to perform ultrasounds.
The centers estimate that about 28% of clients faced with a positive pregnancy test are abortion-minded. After viewing their child on ultrasound, 79%-90% of these women choose to carry their children to term. [www.family.org, Pregnancy Resource Ministry, HLA Action News, Spring 2004]
