More than 20 medical studies have shown that women suffer from abortion, and the American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse just published the latest study of post-abortive women. Women who aborted had rates of substance abuse that were approximately twice as high as those of women who chose to give birth to their babies.

Science continues to provide evidence that abortion is extremely harmful to the mother as well as fatal to the unborn child. An increasing number of states are passing legislation that requires women be informed of the health risks they face when undergoing an abortion.
