The 2013 National Community Baby Shower Day, October 26-27th, provided resources for pregnant and parenting mothers on your campus and in your community.

This national day was inspired by the Pro-Life Aggies group at Texas A&M University when they hosted a “Community Baby Shower,” asking shoppers of a local store to purchase diapers, wipes, formula, and baby items to give to the group so they could, in turn, donate them to a local resource center for young parents.

After their 1st Baby Shower, the group was able to donate over $700 in cash and truckloads of baby items!

Because it was so successful, they have decided to partner with Students for Life of America and Stand True for the 3rd year in a row to make the “Community Baby Shower” a national movement to support pregnancy resource centers.

We are hoping at least 100 pro-life campus groups will participate in order to help women across our country, and of course, any community group can sponsor a Community Baby Shower!

See the official event Facebook page for tips on how to make your baby shower a success!
