The trauma surgeons at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago did everything they could to save Tonya Reaves on that July day in 2012.

After finding an “uncontrollable bleed,” they tried an emergency hysterectomy, but it was too late . . . because Tonya had already spent more than five hours bleeding in the recovery room of a local Planned Parenthood abortion shop after a botched abortion. She died before the day was over.

She was only twenty-four.

The abortion industry wants to bury stories like Tonya’s, or if they do come out, to present them as tragic but isolated accidents.

However, the truth is that since 2009, at least 89 abortion providers in 29 states have faced investigations, criminal charges, administrative complaints, civil lawsuits, or been cited for violating state laws governing the operation of abortion businesses.
