The firestorm which has ensued reveals disturbing intertwining of elective abortion within the highest levels of governmental administration, and academic research…
By now you are probably well aware of the undercover investigation which has revealed evidence that Planned Parenthood is involved in the trafficking of human fetal tissue for profit, and the Congressional outcry for investigation

“The first video shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services

Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.

“In the second video, Mary Gatter, the Medical director at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley in California
[https://www.linkedin.com/pub/mary-gatter/21/4a3/646], discusses selling aborted baby body parts with undercover investigators posing as officials with a biotech company that acts as a middleman to sell aborted baby body parts to universities and other places that conduct such research.
“Gatter is a senior official within Planned Parenthood and is President of the Medical Directors’ Council, the central committee of all Planned Parenthood affiliate medical directors.”
The firestorm which has ensued reveals disturbing insights into the intertwining of elective abortion within the highest levels of governmental administration, and academic research.
According to a Heritage Foundation report

“But there’s more. Nucatola is not the only abortionist in the government’s family-planning ‘Expert Work Group’: Dr. Michael Policar literally wrote the book on ‘abortion care’.
“Others, including Dr. Beth Jordan, Dr. Mark Hathaway, and Dr. Pablo Rodriguez are long-time abortion advocates and veteran providers.
“Another member of the group, Dr. Vanessa Cullins, is the vice-president of medical affairs for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the country’s largest abortion business.”

And, of course, ACOG never met a Planned Parenthood practice it didn’t love.
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/about-us/newsroom/press-releases/leading-health-care-provider-organizations-members-congress-stand-planned-parenthood
“Dr. Lawrence, from ACOG said, “As an ob-gyn who has practiced for 30 years, I fully recognize the importance of insuring and protecting ongoing well women’s health care. And as an expert in reproductive services and gynecological care, ACOG simply cannot underscore enough how important the care Planned Parenthood provides is to women’s health.”
Is this what you want your ACOG membership dues to uphold?
ACOG has a long and dark relationship defending Planned Parenthood’s carnage, and saying that ACOG speaks for you. ACOG has for the last 40 years filed amicus briefs defending Planned Parenthood and fighting against informed consent laws, parental consent laws, waiting periods and any and all restrictions on abortion on demand throughout pregnancy and including during birth.
ACOG fought the federal partial birth abortion ban, despite acknowledging that there was no medical indication for partial birth abortion, and works hand in glove with the Center for Reproductive Rights.
AAPLOG has also been involved in these cases, opposing ACOG with the professional voice of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Unlike ACOG, we represent your voice at the State and Federal level, and the sentiment of over 85% of obgyns who vote with their scalpel and do not perform abortions of their fetal patients.
It is again time to hold the leadership of ACOG accountable for their support of Planned Parenthoods illegal tissue trafficking. Contact your district representative and let them know your thoughts on performing “less crunchable” procedures in order to obtain specimens for sale, and your thoughts on ACOG’s unlimited defense of Planned Parenthood.
AAPLOG has released our press release in response to the evidence so far of Planned Parenthoods involvement in illegal human tissue trafficking. http://aaplog.wildapricot.org/press
Those of us who still uphold our Hippocratic Vow have a responsibility to speak out now while we still have an opportunity to defend the most defenseless of our brothers and sisters in the womb.
How long we have the ability to speak out as professionals depends on our swift action to defend our rights of conscience.
“The urgency of the task before us is clear when you consider the potential consequences of being forced to comply with the following stipulation found in the Affordable Care Act, Section 1311(h) entitled ‘Quality Improvement’, “Beginning on January 1, 2015, a qualified health plan may contract with…(B) a health care provider only if such provider implements such mechanisms to improve health care quality as the Secretary may by regulations require”.
Therefore, it is urgent to pass legislation protecting rights of conscience and religious liberty to ensure our freedom to deliver medical care in conformity with our firmly held ethical values and religious convictions.
Fortunately there is already a bill in the House of Representatives, HR 940, which provides the legal protection required to ensure our rights are upheld.
Now it is imperative we work diligently to rally support for the bill and insist upon its passage.
Several steps should be taken:
1) Contact your Representatives and Senators urging passage of HR 940.
Email messages can be sent via the NCHLA Action Center at
http://www.nchla.org/actiondisplay.asp?ID=292.
2) Encourage as many other associates and friends as possible to do the same.
3) Contact your Representatives and Senators by phone at the U.S.
Capitol switchboard 202-224-3121 and if you know them
personally make an appointment to meet with them.
AAPLOG stands with you against powers and principalities and wickedness in high places. We are not the first to take such a stand, nor will we be the last.
But, now is our time to stand and speak.
