After spending millions of pounds on contraceptives and morning-after pills in an attempt to reduce teen pregnancy in Britain, the government was forced to admit in December that the “safe sex” campaign is simply not working. The number of teen pregnancies and abortions rose since the move to make contraception ever more available and confidential (i.e. without parental consent).
