Quotes to Note

Do you know the meaning of the word "MODESTY"?
Do our young people know what it means?

Have you told them?
Why are you silent?

If you don't encourage them to be CHASTE & MODEST, others will encourage them to have sex... with all its physical and emotional dangers outside marriage...

If you are silent, and they get AIDS, or Herpes, or HPV, then how will you feel about yourself?

Talk to them!

Help our youth to be CHASED BUT CHASTE, to be MODEST in clothing, action, and words, for their PHYSICAL & EMOTIONAL PROTECTION...

http://www.physiciansforlife.org/content/view/2134/26/

Women are, on average, 4 TIMES more likely to commit suicide after abortion than women who give birth and have no prior abortion experience...
There has been one SYSTEMATIC REVIEW & META-ANALYSIS [SRMA] of the Abortion--Suicide Risk -- http://www.physiciansforlife.org/content/view/2134/26/; the 2011 Coleman SRMA of 22 worldwide studies reported that women with prior Induced Abortions (IAs) have 4 times the suicide risk compared to women with zero prior IAs.
A SRMA is the category of medical study providing the highest confidence, pro or con, about a purported risk factor.

  • I'm Pregnant! What Do I Do Now?  ( 14 items )

First of all, take time to learn about all your alternatives. Don't let anyone force you into a decision you will regret. You are the one who will live with the consequences of your decision. You have the right to choose life.

    Abortion is forever...

If she is not alive, why is she growing?

If she is not a human being, what kind of being is she?

If she is not a child, why is she sucking her thumb?

If she is a living, human child, why is it legal to kill her?                [Right to Life Crusade, Inc., Tulsa, OK]

General Information about the Reality of Abortion: types, techniques, and the abortion industry described by insiders.

Go to Abortion Stories to read the real life stories of women (& men) who have experienced abortion.

Visit other categories for more detailed information about the physical and psychological effects of abortion, and read the scientific studies which give actual statistics regarding physical and psychological (emotional) consequences, such as depression, increased substance abuse, increased smoking, increased risk-taking, increased risk of death from accidents, suicide, homicide, natural causes. Other problems that can result from abortion affect future pregnancies, such as placenta previa, premature delivery of future babies, Rh problems, child abuse, and cerebral palsy.

List of 70 Epidemiologic Studies: Induced Abortion--Breast Cancer Risk, Breast Cancer Prevention Institute Fact Sheet, Updated May 2012

    http://bcpinstitute.org/epidemiology_studies_bcpi.htm

An interesting study published in a mainline medical journal, Breast Cancer Research & Treatment, actually written by doctors working for the Chinese gov't (Dr. Lei Fan et al), speculates that the big surge in breast cancer rates in Chinese cities is much due to China's One-Child-Policy:

Breast Cancer in a Transitional Society over 18 Years: Trends and Present Status in Shanghai, China
    Breast Cancer Res Treat (2009) 117:409–416 ; DOI 10.1007/ s10549-008-0303-z

For a thorough evaluation of 'Scientific' Myths and Scientific Facts, read "When Do Human Beings Begin?" [Dianne N. Irving, M.A., Ph.D.; International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy 1999, 19:3/4:22-36; www.physiciansforlife.ca]; click here

Have you ever wondered how to respond to pro-abortion arguments?

You know they are not quite correct; but you just aren't sure what to say...

Now you can find the "verbal ammunition" you need to respond intelligently to pro-abortion reasoning. Check the webpages below...

  • Defending Life -- Reasoned Responses  ( 37 items )
  • RU 486 / Chemical Abortion / \'TeleMed\' Abortions  ( 16 items )

The function of RU 486 / mifepristone / mifeprex is to cause an early, chemical abortion, termed a 'medical' or 'medication' abortion.

Several documented deaths of women who were aborting with RU 486 have occurred.

Infection is another adverse effect of medication abortions.

Ella, while marketed as a contraceptive, is in the same family as RU 486 / mifepristone, and acts as an abortifacient (causes an early abortion).

TeleMed Abortions are being marketed in Iowa by Planned Parenthood. A woman consults briefly over internet with a physician [sic] and then given these very potent pills. There is no examination, no verification of the woman's health -- no physician oversight whatsoever. This is a very dangerous development and all pregnant women need to be protected from such shoddy medical practice.

  • Abortion Violence to Women - Abuse/Coercion  ( 34 items )

Abortion is often not wanted by the woman. Studies now show that 30% to 60% of all women procuring abortions feel pressured to do so. Homicides of pregnant women are on the rise, often because women refuse to kill their unborn children.

  • Race-Linked Abortion / Reproductive Racism  ( 13 items )
  • Possible Abortion Complications to Women  ( 49 items )

Generally, 10% of women who undergo abortion suffer serious physical problems.

Approximately 1 of every 500 abortions involves life-threatening complications for the mother.

Visit "Published Abortion Studies" and "Published Abortion-Breast Cancer Studies" in this section for more detailed medical information about the adverse effects of abortion.

These Power Point Presentations summarize present research related to surgical abortion, medical abortion (RU486 or Mifeprex - chemically or drug induced abortion, DIA), and maternal mortality related to these abortion methods.
  • Alternatives to Abortion  ( 9 items )

     November is National Adoption Month

There are many alternatives to abortion which should be considered.

One cannot reasonably "choose" abortion if other options are not equally weighed in the decision.

In order to make an Informed Decision, all alternatives must be thoroughly considered.

    www.benotafraid.net

BeNotAfraid.net is an online outreach to parents who have received a poor or difficult prenatal diagnosis.

The family stories, articles, and links within this site are presented as a resource for those who may be asked to choose between terminating a pregnancy or continuing on despite the diagnosis.

The benotafraid.net families faced the same decision and chose not to terminate. By sharing our experiences, we hope to offer encouragement to those who may be afraid to continue...

At most, 1%-2% of the 1,300,000 abortions performed in the USA each year are procured for rape and incest; about the same number for genetic variations.

Often, doctors press mothers to abort in order to simplify their own medical treatment and avoid the risk of legal action against them. Their own protection may be more important to them than protection for the fragile life within, or for the mother's emotional well-being later.

Improving medical technology has all but eliminated the "need" for abortion, even if the mother's physical health is endangered. Medical treatments are now usually capable of protecting both patients - mother and child.

    Prenatal Partners For Life
    http://www.prenatalpartnersforlife.org/

Prenatal Partners for Life is a group of concerned parents (most of whom have or had a special needs child), medical professionals, legal professionals and clergy whose aim is to support, inform and encourage expectant or new parents.

We offer support by connecting parents facing an adverse diagnosis (for example, Downs Syndrome, Trisomy 18, Anacephaly) with other parents who have had the same diagnosis.

We have many resources such as adoption agencies with clients waiting to adopt and love a special needs child should a parent feel they could not care for them.

We provide bereavement support including financial aid for funeral costs and markers should a beloved child not survive long after birth.

We also provide education and support for those in the medical community who are charged with the care of these "extra special" needs children.

We believe each child is a special gift ... and there must be an alternative to abortion and infanticide.

Most women, if really allowed to choose, would choose to give birth.

Find out why...Let's Love Them Both...
