Ideas for a Pro Life School Year

Grade School Students… with your parents’ permission, offer your help at your local pro-life center or pregnancy center. You can stuff & stamp envelopes, sharpen pencils, stack shelves with brochures, and other similar tasks. with your parents' or teachers' help, you can hold a car wash, lemonade, and/or bake sale to raise needed money for your local pregnancy center with your parents' or teachers' help, you can sponsor a "baby shower" to collect needed baby clothes and diapers for your local pregnancy center with your parents' or teachers' help, you can invite a pro-life speaker such as your local pregnancy center director, to give a presentation at your PTO meeting, or in your health class if you believe in prayer, pray for babies in danger of abortion in your city and in the world High School Students… meet local pro-life activists through your parents use their library facilities for your assignments turn class projects into pro-life activities (e.g. for history, research pro-life views of early U.S. feminists or show the racist, eugenic beliefs of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger. For biology class, write about babies’ development in the womb. For current events, research related pro-life issues, such as embryonic vs. adult stem cell research. For international relations, explore contraceptive imperialism of the World Bank and WHO. For a computer project, research the websites of pro-life groups. For a service project, volunteer at a pro-life pregnancy-counseling center.) get on the school newspaper staff and do pro-life stories write letters to the editor and submit opinion editorials and cartoons   College students… all of the above – and more!  join your campus...

Ideas To Help Spread The Pro Life Message

EDUCATE YOURSELF!! Learn the facts about abortion, historical, legal, medical, and statistical. Contact resources at the end of this brochure. Wear your "Precious Feet" lapel pin or Pro-Life button/T-shirt everywhere as an opportunity to speak about the beauty of life. Place a Pro-Life bumper sticker on your car. Several thousand people may see this message each year! Keep Pro-Life brochures with pictures in your car, purse, or briefcase.  Gently remind people that preborn babies can feel pain and that they are fully formed and functioning by 12 weeks after conception. Place Pro-Life brochures / magazines in reception rooms, doctor’s offices, waiting areas, barber shops, bus stations, airports, restrooms, church vestibules, public telephone areas, malls, convention halls, restaurants (with your tips), the collection plate, in your outgoing mail, in free newspapers. Then try bulletin boards in hospitals, laundromats, gas stations, post offices, college dorms, grocery stores, libraries, churches, restaurants, banks, government buildings, coffee shops, anywhere people will find them. Mail Pro-Life brochures with your utility bill payments, greeting cards, etc. Use Pro-Life Checks. About 15 people see your checks as they are processed  and these checks carry powerful messages. As you become more comfortable with the facts  & concepts, it will be easier to discuss them with co-workers, friends, and  relatives who are "on the fence". Avoid heated debates and arguments; anger  has no place in this issue. A truly compassionate heart is what is needed. Write letters to the editors of newspapers and magazines regarding abortion, euthanasia,...
