Students will be able to:
- define character traits (commitment, love, perseverance, respect, responsibility, self-discipline/courage) and identify ways to practice them in their lives.
- identify characteristics of physical, social, intellectual, moral (ethical, proper conduct), and emotional/psychological maturity; recognize that maturity is a process; and recognize the importance of maturing steadily in these five areas.
- differentiate between hurtful and helpful behaviors/actions.

- identify some harmful physical effects of premarital sexual activity (e.g. STDs such as HPV, Herpes II, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV/AIDS) (PRIORITY E)
